Francis Gaudet, 55. of Quebec passed away Saturday, March 13, 1999 at Saint-Sacrement Hospital, Quebec, following a brief illness.

Born in Dartmouth, NS, he was the son of Exia (Melanson) Gaudet and the late Jean Gaudet. He was employed as Sales Manager of Ertel Corporation of Canada Ltd.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Dorothée Gautreau Gaudet; his father-in-law, Alfred Gautreau, Pré-d'en-Haut; two daughters. Lynn and Joanne Gaudet, both of Quebec; one son, Michel (Carole Croteau) Gaudet, Orleans, ON; five sisters, Lise (Adrien) Daley, Cornwall, ON, Diane (late Rick) St-Germain and Ginette Gaudet, St-Léonard, PQ, Marilys (Dave) Edgeworth. Kitchener, ON, Murielle (Ted) Beauchamp, Kitimat, BC; one sister-in-law, Rachel Gautreau, St-Philippe-Néri, PQ; two brothers, Pius (Bertha) Gaudet, St-Joseph, NB, Jean-Guy Gaudet, Kitimat, BC; one brother-in-law, Marc Albert, St-Philippe-Néri, PQ; two grandchildren, Jessica and Samuel; several nieces and nephews.

Visiting will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home Ltd., Memramcook, NB, Friday. March 19, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial Mass will be held at Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pré-d'en-Haut, Saturday, March 20, 1999, 11 a.m.
